Join Our Team
Roofing is physical, precise, and - when it’s done right - genuinely satisfying work. You stand on something you built and know it’ll hold through the next ten winters. That’s not nothing. At Tilehurst Roofing, we run jobs the way we’d want our own house worked on: a written price before anyone picks up a tool, a clean site when we leave, and a guarantee in the homeowner’s hands before the crew drives off. If that sounds like how you already think work should go, you’ll fit in here.
We’re part of the Kingswell family of roofing companies, founded in 2000, and we operate under the same four promises on every job, every location. The people who thrive here aren’t necessarily the most experienced roofers in the yard. They’re the ones who care whether the job is done right, not just done. Greg Holloway, owner at Tilehurst Roofing, puts it plainly: we’d rather spend time training someone with the right attitude than manage someone who cuts corners by habit.
Who We’re Looking For
- Roofing Installer – You know your way around a nail gun and a shingle, you work safely at height, and you’re the person on the crew who notices when something’s off before it becomes a comeback call.
- Roofing Apprentice – You’re new to the trade or recently out of a related program and you learn fast by watching and doing, not just reading a manual.
- Lead Technician / Crew Lead – You’ve run jobs before, you communicate clearly with homeowners on-site, and you take the guarantee as seriously as we do because your name is on the work.
- Roof Repair Specialist – You’re the one who can look at a leak and read the roof like a sentence, diagnosing what failed and why before you touch anything.
- Dispatcher / Scheduling Coordinator – You keep the calendar honest, the crew informed, and the homeowner in the loop, and you understand that a missed arrival window is a broken promise.
- Customer Service Representative – You’re the live voice that answers when someone calls about a roof in trouble, and you handle it with the same calm you’d want on the other end of the line.
What We Offer
A Real Path, Not a Job That Goes Nowhere
Apprentices at Tilehurst Roofing work alongside experienced lead technicians from day one, learning how we diagnose, install, repair, and stand behind every job. We train toward promotion deliberately: the lead techs we have today came up through the same process. A clear next step matters, and we make sure you can see it.
Work You Can Actually Be Proud Of
Because every job starts with a written price and ends with a written guarantee, you’re never put in the position of overpromising or cutting corners to meet a margin someone else set. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means the work has to hold, and our crews know that. That standard makes the job harder in the right way and easier to be proud of.
Local Crew, National Backing
Each Tilehurst Roofing location runs as an independent local business, so you’re working with people from your area, on homes in your area. At the same time, you have access to material relationships with seven major manufacturers – GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral – plus the systems, training, and support that come from being part of the Kingswell family. That’s a combination most local operators can’t offer on their own.
Steady Work in a Field That Doesn’t Go Away
Roofs fail. Weather doesn’t take years off. Homeowners who put off a repair long enough eventually face a replacement. The demand for skilled roofing work is consistent in a way that a lot of trades aren’t, and because we run jobs correctly the first time, our reputation keeps the schedule full. Background-checked, uniformed technicians on every job is not just a homeowner-facing promise – it also means you’re working alongside people who cleared the same bar you did.
No Experience? Read This.
If you’ve worked construction, done exterior carpentry, laid flooring, framed walls, or spent time on any job site where you learned to read a structure and work safely at height, more transfers here than you’d think. Roofing has its own vocabulary and its own techniques, and we teach both. The first months are structured: you’ll shadow a lead technician, then work alongside them, then take on sections with oversight until the comfort and the standard are both where they need to be. We’re not looking for someone who already knows everything. We’re looking for someone who shows up on time, pays attention, and takes the guarantee as seriously as the rest of the crew does. The trade can be learned. The attitude has to arrive with you.
